Airplay and Exposure Agreement for Queer Uno Radio
This agreement outlines the terms between the musician, artist, vocalist, musical group, record label, or an agent acting on their behalf (hereinafter referred to as “you”), and Queer Uno Radio, owned and operated by the non-profit national Spanish association QUEER MEDIA (hereinafter referred to as “Affiliates”).
Synopsis of the “Airplay for Exposure” Agreement
By submitting your music, you confirm that you own the rights, publishing rights, and copyright to all music submitted. The music must be your original composition; cover songs are not allowed.
If your music is selected for broadcast, Queer Uno Radio will play your music without any expectation of financial compensation, in exchange for increased exposure of your work to a diverse international audience.
To be included in our rotation, we request a one-time donation of €50, valid for 12 months, to help support our independent non-profit broadcasting.
Terms and Conditions
1. Ownership and Rights:
You confirm that you hold the copyright and publishing rights for all submitted music. If there is any change in ownership or rights, you must notify the Affiliates. Should any dispute arise, you agree to cover all legal fees incurred by the Affiliates.
2. Airplay and Exposure:
Queer Uno Radio will consider your music for inclusion in its programming, but does not guarantee airplay. This agreement grants permission to use your music on our online platform in exchange for visibility.
3. Submission Format:
Music must be submitted in MP3 or WAV format. If requested later, video content must be submitted in MP4, MOV, or AVI. All submissions are subject to evaluation and approval by Queer Uno Radio. Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the broadcast.
4. Donation for Broadcast:
To be part of Queer Uno Radio’s rotation, we request a one-time donation of €50, valid for a 12-month period starting from the date of acceptance. This contribution directly supports the operational costs of our non-profit online station. The donation does not imply guaranteed or continuous airplay, but ensures your music is actively considered for programming.
5. No Financial Compensation:
By submitting your music, you acknowledge that no financial compensation, trade, or merchandise will be provided for the broadcast or promotion of your content.
6. Ownership of Queer Uno Radio:
You acknowledge that all rights to Queer Uno Radio belong fully to the non-profit Spanish association QUEER MEDIA, which operates the platform.
7. Automatic Renewal:
This agreement renews automatically every 12 months unless terminated in writing by either party with at least 90 days’ notice prior to renewal.
8. Legally Binding Agreement:
By submitting your music and agreeing to these terms, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Queer Uno Radio and its Affiliates.
